We run a number of workshops and training throughout the year in order to invest in the professional development of Guest English Teachers. The office of Education will contact all teachers about when the time comes!
As of COVID-19, all workshops and training are being conducted online.
WORKSHOP FOR SPRING
There is a workshop in spring and it's a mandatory workshop. Teachers who have arrived in the two most recent intakes will be invited as well as those who have been with Jeollabukdo Office of Education for longer (could be optional). We invite speakers to cover a range of topic relevant to teaching, life in Jeollabukdo etc.
WORKSHOP FOR WINTER
Every year over the winter period, we hold in-service training for all GETs, except those not renewing their contacts for the following year. There is a guest speaker session- where GETs have chance to deliver a presentation to their peers.

TEACHING CONSULTING
During the year, The Office of Education can organize a consulting session with you and your co-teacher. If you think you need an experts' advice or review of your lesson, Please talk to your co-teacher first and contact coordinator at Jeollabukdo Office of Education.
This teaching consult can be arranged by POE or your school. We will send a notification once it's scheduled.
